Real Madrid have agreed a new shirt sponsorship deal with Emirates airline for the next five seasons. No official figures were released for the sponsorship deal which is reported by media to be worth up to 30 million euros ($38.90 million) a year. Madrid's famous white strip will carry the slogan 'Fly Emirates'. The Dubai-based carrier replaces online betting firm bwin who have sponsored Real's shirts for the last six years in a deal that was reported by consulting firm Sport+Markt to be worth around 23 million euros a year. Emirates airline has rewritten all records in civil aviation with an order for 150 Boeing 777X, comprising 35 Boeing 777-8Xs and 115 Boeing 777-9Xs, plus 50 purchase rights; and an additional 50 Airbus A380 aircraft.
Emirates and Arsenal Football Club today announced a new £150 million deal which grants the airline a five year extension to their shirt partnership with the Club until the end of the 2018/2019 season. As part of the deal Arsenal's home will continue to be knows as Emirates Stadium up to 2028

Portsmouth City Council have confirmed that the newly-named Emirates Spinnaker Tower will be repainted to the Dubian airline’s brand colours of red and white. Two Airbus A380s flew in formation over Sydney's world-famous Harbour Bridge on the 31st of March 2013 to celebrate the launch of a tie-up between Emirates and Qantas, the Australian airline. The super-jumbos one from each of the carriers flew up the harbour, passing the Sydney Opera House and city centre before flying in tandem over the bridge at 10.30am.

LONDON: Emirates Airlines on Friday awarded a record $9.2-billion (8.5-billion-euro) engines deal to British aircraft engine maker Rolls-Royce. "Emirates has today announced an historic $9.2 billion deal with Rolls-Royce for Trent 900 engines and a long-term TotalCare package," it said in a statement, adding the engines will power 50 Airbus A380s ordered at the Dubai Air Show in 2013.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The United States signed an agreement Thursday on civil nuclear cooperation with the United Arab Emirates. Calling the agreement "a powerful and timely model for the world and the region," Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice signed the deal, along with UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed. "We applaud the UAE's commission -- commitment to the highest standards of safety, security and nonproliferation in its pursuit of nuclear power," Rice said.
